The Virbac Signal platform ("virbac.besignal.com") is a secure alert system to allow VIRBAC to meet notably the requirements of article 17.II.2 of the law No. 2016-1691 for the promotion of transparency, combating corruption and the modernisation of the economy known as “Sapin II Law”. This law aims to allow the collection of reports from VIRBAC employees and any other Virbac stakeholders relating to the existence of conduct or situations contrary to the company's code of conduct and likely to characterize acts of corruption or influence peddling.
In this regard, we remind you that your declaration is a serious step which may have implications for the persons involved and must be carried out in good faith. In such a context, under no circumstances can your action be penalized. However, we must inform you that any individual who willfully makes false or misleading statements may be subject to disciplinary action or legal action, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Regarding the admissibility of your report, it will be assessed in particular through the following points:
- does the report fall within the scope of the procedure?
- is the nature of the situation described sufficiently serious and substantiated to allow an investigation?
- are the reported facts contrary to the law, regulations or the code of conduct?
- is the report in good faith and disinterested?
- Did the sender of the report personally witness the reported facts?
Any report that does not fall within the framework of the procedure put in place will be automatically destroyed, and the personal data deleted, the sender of the alert will be informed.
All reports are processed confidentially by VIRBAC for the purposes mentioned above and only limited access rights will be open to collaborators authorized to collect or process alerts. Your personal data (if the alert is not anonymous) as well as those of the people targeted in the alert will remain confidential and will only be shared for the purpose of processing the report and with a limited number of people necessary to fulfil the purposes.
